What you can expect

The Mecklenburg Lake District is an ideal recreational area for nature lovers! Clean water, untouched nature, extensive forests and fields are what make it so attractive.

The 4-star Zuruf Camping Park is located directly on Lake Plau, the third largest lake in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the seventh largest lake in Germany with an area of almost 40 km². The picturesque climatic health resort of Plau am See is only 3 km away and is a popular excursion destination.

In addition to pitches for motorhomes and caravans, there are also tent pitches, fin cabins, rental caravans and permanent pitches available.

The site has its own bathing beach, a jetty and boat and bike hire. The 3 modern sanitary buildings are barrier-free and handicapped accessible!

Enjoy nature, the sound of the waves or experience real camper conviviality. You will definitely find the right place with us!

Thanks to its quiet location right on the water and its proximity to nature, the camping park is a popular destination for vacationers and holidaymakers who want to relax from everyday life.

Numerous offers for all ages complement your stay with us:

Childcare with fun and games for the little ones in summer

Bicycles, go-karts and boats (license-free) can be rented

Table tennis tables, a volleyball and badminton court and outdoor chess provide sporting variety

Anglers can purchase tourist fishing licenses and fish directly from the site or from a boat.

Our Bistro Schilfhütte provides refreshments and fresh drinks.

Diverse excursion destinations in the surrounding area offer variety for young and old.

Pitches

Zuruf Camping Park offers pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents to suit every taste. In our beach row you have a direct view of Lake Plau from your pitch. You can choose from 150 pitches of different sizes, generously divided by bushes and, depending on your preference, in a sunny location or in the shade. The natural design with lots of bushes and old trees guarantees a relaxing vacation in the countryside.

Our newly created comfort pitches are equipped with their own water and waste water connections. Both the comfort pitches and the category 2 pitches offer a direct TV connection at the pitch.

Campers with dogs are also very welcome! We have created a separate pitch area with spacious pitches and direct access to the hiking trail. This leads along the lakeshore through the forest to the picturesque Seeluster Bucht – ideal for relaxed walks in the countryside. New from 2021, we have also created comfort pitches with water and waste water connections in the dog area.

Our 3 tent pitches to choose from offer a real camper feeling!

Cyclists will find our own tent meadow with covered seating and the possibility to safely lock up their bikes.

Rental accommodation

Of course, you can also enjoy the camping feeling and relaxation in nature without your own tent or motorhome. You can rent fin cabins and caravans from us. These are available in various sizes and with different equipment.

Our 2 modern comfort caravans for 2-5 people are fully equipped and have a spacious awning with an outdoor seating area.

The 16 Finn cabins offer space for 2-4 people. They are nicely furnished and, like the caravans, equipped with cooking facilities, fridge, crockery and TV (except small Finn cabins). Each cabin has a seating area for outside use. Our comfort cabins have a water connection with hot water in the kitchen area and private bathrooms right next to the cabin. The more rustic small Finn cabins and the standard Finn cabins do not have their own sanitary facilities; here you can use the nearby sanitary buildings (approx. 200 m).

We are open from March 1st to October 31st!

In the period from November 1st to February 28th we only have limited opening hours. We only accept self-sufficient mobile homes and caravans that do not require the use of sanitary facilities. Further information on winter operation

Our three modern and barrier-free sanitary buildings are at your disposal. Showering is included in the price. Of course, washing machines and dryers are also available for our guests. A children's bathroom is available for children up to the age of 3. A disabled bathroom completes the offer.

Renting motorboats (license-free), bicycles or go-karts is a popular vacation activity. We cooperate with the local bicycle store Fahrrad Luchs for bicycle rental. New: our e-up and our sauna barrel for rent for our guests! More information here.

Pitches outside

5. February 2025

You can stay overnight outside the campsite at a particularly favorable rate and use all the facilities. For transients and short-term stays of up to 3 nights. Electricity connection possible.

Cyclist

4. February 2025

Own (car-free) cycling meadow for campers with bikes including covered tables and hangers for locking up the bikes. Accommodation also possible in Finnish huts as a good alternative, e.g. in bad weather. Pick-up from the nearest train station possible by prior arrangement.

Minimum stay: A minimum stay of 3 nights applies for Ascension and Pentecost and from 01.07.-15.08. for campsites and 5 nights for rental properties (except for cyclists).

Approach

A 24 Hamburg-Berlin, exit Meyenburg, B103 direction north via Meyenburg to the 1st traffic light junction in Plau am See (at kik), there turn right to Plötzenhöhe into Seestraße.

Navigation devices often guide you through the Seeluster Bucht from the south, but this route is not suitable for caravans. Therefore, please follow the description above.
